Sports muscle recovery and training recovery actions have been found to be improved with Perna® Green Lipped Mussel extract. A clinical study (double blind placebo) found that Perna® Green Lipped Mussel extract speeded up the recovery of soft tissue that had been damaged through sporting injury. Tired leg muscles were exposed to a series of drop jumps to induce muscle damage and it was found that peak muscle power was restored quicker and to a greater extent in the Perna® group.
